1. Service Overview

Cheap Fuel Prices is a free service that provides access to fuel price information sourced from the UK Government Fuel Finder database. We make this data more accessible by allowing you to search for stations near your location.

2. Data Accuracy

While we strive to provide accurate and up-to-date information:

• All fuel price data comes from third-party sources (UK Government Fuel Finder)
• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of the data
• Fuel prices can change frequently and without notice
• Always verify prices with the fuel station before visiting

3. Price Freshness and Exclusions

Fuel prices are provided by retailers to the UK Government Fuel Finder service, and retailers are responsible for keeping their reported prices current.

To keep our comparisons meaningful, we apply a freshness rule to our curated features (the "cheapest station" rankings, price averages, and town pages): any price that a retailer has not updated within the last 14 days is excluded. A price that old may no longer reflect what you would actually pay at the pump.

This is an editorial curation decision based on the freshness of the data each station provides — not a judgement about any station, and not a change to the underlying data, which we store as reported. Some stations update their prices daily; others report infrequently or not at all after an initial submission. Prices shown in individual search results are as reported to the government database. In all cases, always confirm the price at the pump before travelling.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use this service only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict their use of the service. You must not:

• Use the service to send excessive automated requests
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Use the data for commercial purposes without appropriate licensing
• Resell or redistribute the data in bulk
